Taken somewhere East of Park Avenue in the 50s. Everything was leaning slightly to the left and the brick, door and window frame had all been painted a horrible, horrible brown. What caught my eye were the little hearts in the bars over the window and how that stood in marked contrast to the obviously unused storefront and deteriorating facade.
not really impressive tagging, but I love the shot! all the different lines from gate and the window bars and the rows of bricks make for quite an interesting composition. well done!
I see 2 worlds in this shot – the old world in sepia with the beautiful wrought iron bars. The new world, dirty and scarred with graffiti.

Wonderful shot; I like the browns and the lines. It’s really sad though to have to go to such great lengths to keep people out.
nice abstract shot!
Love the straight perspective! Clean & simple.
Very well composed. A good shot and a good find!
